Is there such a thing as a Pro-Life Democrat?

I know this has to do with Illinois politics, but a) the webmistress is an Illinois voter, and b) I think it makes a good point no matter what. It just takes Illinois as the most obvious and public example, as many bishops did with John Kerry and pro-abortion politicians recieving the Eucharist.

Of course there are pro-life Democrats! Democrats for Life of America has a Michigan and an Illinois chapter. You Republicans are fooling yourselves if you think you have a lock on the life issue.
The best part about pro-life Democrats is that we realize life doesnt begin at conception and end at birth.
